Things you think everyone knows (But They Don’t)

In the digital age, what appears common is not so common.

Your eyes are now on a screen, not a newspaper, magazine, or book. Advertising dollars have diverted to Google, Facebook, Amazon and other digital properties. So much activity is online, including my own livelihood.

This week, while sharing the release of my book, The Webinar Way, I promoted via social media and other virtual means on how to get the book for free. As Ken Auletta says, marketing has a purpose in a free society, and intellectual honesty compels us to recognize that those who sell products need a way to share information with consumers.

My consumers for my book, more correctly are my readers and they are are smart, professional, entrepreneurial, Go-Givers (thanks, Bob Burg), and ready to learn and implement new ideas.

There’s no question Amazon is an incredible company says, Julia Cheiffetz. What was surprising, that in 2018, with the world shrinking physical audio and books to digital consumption, these three topics listed below, came up in multiple private messages and conversations. Yes, not everyone knows this stuff, albeit, these are very specific topics in terms of books on Amazon.

[1] I don’t have a Kindle Reader so I can’t get your book.

>> You can enjoy Kindle books without an Amazon Kindle device — use the free cloud reader in your browser — https://read.amazon.com/

Get your *FREE* copy of The Webinar Way.
Login and search “the webinar way”

[2] I really want the Paperback (or audiobook) for free.

>> What you see is what you get. It is a gift, a free gift (limited time).

But the good news is that in the case of The Webinar Way it is set up as an Amazon Kindle “Matchbook” so when you buy The Webinar Way Paperback edition, you get a free Kindle version because of your purchase of the print version. And, after the five day free book giveaway, The Webinar Way is free on Kindle Unlimited. Not every author does this but I believe in lots of accessibility.

>> As for the audio version, it is also free, with all chapters as episodes. http://thewebinarway.book2pod.com/episodes

[3] I how do I leave a review on Amazon?
>> Again, surprising to see how many folks don’t know how to leave a review. Here are the steps below.

A. Sign into Amazon

B. “Buy” the book if you have not done so already

C. Read the Kindle book and scroll to the end (showing 100% Location)

D. Come up with your own Title/Headline; max. 35–40 characters.
